(Dual Raptor)
The rain coming from the dark clouds above, quickly ran off the roof of Peach's castle. It fell to the moat below, becoming apart of the already large water mass. Inside, in her room, Peach lain, sleeping quietly. However as a small beam of light found it's way into her room, Peach turned in her sleep slowly. Her eye lids twitched slightly.
"Come to me peach..." Her face turning to fright in her sleep, Peach turned over once more, wrinkling up the bed sheets, causing one of the many pillows on her bed to fall to the marble floor. Then as the voice rang out in her head again, repeating the message, Peach opened her eyes wide and sat up in bed. She looked to the left, and then to the right. Her sight drifted as she looked out the window, As if many voices were now calling her, however, one seemed closer than the others.
"Peach... come... find me... the kitchen..." Peach blinked a few times, the voice didn't sound very scary now, after saying it could be found in the kitchen. Yet and still, the princess of the mushroom kingdom got up from her warm comfy bed. Slipping her pink slippers on, she walked towards the great double doors of her room and opened one of them. It opened slowly making a "creeeek" that echoed in the entire hallway. Stepping out into the hall, Peach turned towards the stairwell. A torch on the wall every few feet made the mood even stranger. Making her way down the steps slowly, Peach could only wonder why she was doing this. With all the times she had been kidnapped, answering to an odd voice in the middle of the night didn't seem smart. However, she couldn't just ignore it, maybe she could prove for once she could take care of herself if there was an evil force... in the kitchen.
Opening the small wooden door into the kitchen, Peach held her nightgown
tighter in the front, making a small ball of fabric in her hand. Then the voice
spoke to her again.
"Closer... the cupboard..." Nodding to herself, Peach walked forward until she
came to the cupboard. Looking down at the knobs, she placed both hands on them
and then opened it slowly. There glowing a dull purple was a mushroom, it looked
to be one of the rare death mushrooms. It had slim black eyes, with a angry tilt
to it's eyebrows. Peach backed up from the cupboard after she took in the sight
of the mushroom. The small of her back hit a stiff oak table and she set her
hands on it still looking at the dull glow.
"Yes... I couldn't get that stupid door open... however, Now that it's open... you're mine!!!" Then, pushing itself off the shelf of the cupboard, the mushroom dropped towards Peach's mouth. With fear in her eyes, Peach opened her mouth to scream, however, there was no time, the mushroom had forced itself into her mouth and was now working it's way deeper. Before she had time to reach up and try to remove the mushroom it was gone. Peach blinked and looked at herself. Now that the mushroom was gone, even after having jumped at her face, it was hard to know if it was real or not. After all the mushroom hadn't left any trace of itself. Then however, as Peach walked forward to look the cupboard over again, she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. Her eyes blurred for a few moments, it seemed like the room was slowly getting smaller with every breath. There was a flash of lightning and Peach felt her head press up upon the top of the kitchen.
Mario woke up the sounds of birds outside. The sunrays blasted into his window resting onto his face. With a mumble Mario opened his eyes up slowly. He sat up in bed and yawned as he flexed his arms above his head. He shook his head back and forth and then jumped down from the top bunk of the bed. His brother, Luigi was still sound asleep. The blankets pulled up over his head to block the sunlight. Watching his brother, Mario laughed to himself and then walked out of the room. Walking outside after having shut the front door behind him quietly. Mario reached up the flimsy clothing line and removed his normal attire. Blue overalls, red t-shirt the basics. He returned to his house yawning again still somewhat tired. After finishing up, Mario stood in front of the mirror and fixed his hat upon his head. As he centered it perfectly he smiled, but the smile faded from his face quickly as a distant thump echoed in the house.
Mario blinked slightly as he looked up to the ceiling as another thump rocked the house slightly this time. Then another and another, each thump getting louder and shaking the ground harder. A small drop of sweat rolled down Mario's forehead as he turned towards the door. Being a hero wasn't easy, and Mario could only guess what vile monster was outside now. Mario took the first few brave strides forward and sucked in his gut, placing his hand on the knob he turned it slowly another thump pushing the hat stand over. However, as Mario pulled back on the door, he stopped and looked over his shoulder, Luigi had come out of the bedroom and was fixing his hat much like Mario did every morning. Mario nodded to Luigi as a thump that seemed nearer than ever made dust fall from the ceiling and the chairs and table rattle.
Then without another moment to waste, Mario flung the door open with Luigi behind him. As they looked out from the door way, a large pink fuzzy object filled their entire view. Mario grabbed his brother by the shoulders and forced him down onto the ground with him. As the object hit the front of the house. Ripping it up from the ground and sending it into the distance. Still on the ground, Mario lifted his head up slowly. He turned his head quickly to look at the crater which use to be his house… and the monster that caused it. Long blonde hair seemed to flow down its back, it had a sweet pink dress like item on which ended around what looked to be the ankles. Then the soft flesh tone reached down into the feet, which rested in the larger pink fuzzy objects. Then, after Mario thought over the image inside his head his eyes opened wide in shock when he realized what...WHO that monster was.
Princess Peach.
The thumps faded away and as quick as she had come, she was gone. Luigi then
lifted his head up and rubbed the back of his neck,
"Ooow, no more wake up calls…" Mario sighed and shook his head at his brother
again as he stood up, he helped Luigi up by the arm and brushed himself off.
Peach was heading in the direction of Bowser’s castle…
"I get the feeling… someone else is going to get the same booming call." Mario
turned to look at his brother and nodded off in the way which the Giantess Peach
was walking.
"A good evil plan... a good evil plan... A GOOD evil plan!" The king himself
paced back and forth before his throne. Rubbing his chin slightly he bared his
teeth as he thought hard of a new way to kidnap the Princess. He snapped his
fingers as a plan come to him, he turned down to the small koopa troopa that was
taking his thoughts down on a pad of paper.
"I'll kidnap Princess Peach, then, using a special evil mushroom, I'll make her
grow to HUGE sizes and do all my biddings!! Like crushing the Mario brothers
underfoot!!!" Bowser laughed aloud to himself, the koopa troopa taking that as
his cue to laugh as well. Then without warning a hail of rubble rained down on
Bowser's parade. A set of smooth long fingers with well groomed finger nails had
ripped into the top of the castle. It then pulled the top off and dropped it
down on top of another section of the castle. Then a large face appeared above
Bowser, casting a shadow over his small figure.
"Wha... wha... ALL THE GOOD IDEAS GET TAKEN!" Bowser stomped his foot down and pointed his finger up at the giant Peach. "Who ever is doing this, it was my idea first!!!" Peach seemed to have a blank look on her face, then her hand entered the room. It found its way around Bowser’s spiky shell and held tightly. The spikes just sank slightly into the skin of Peach hardly causing a small prick. Bowser yelled loudly and tried to kick free before looking down at the koopa toopa.
"Well don't just stand there you dolt, HELP ME!!!!" The sound of Bowser’s voice echoed away as he was pulled out into the sky. The koopa toopa dropped the writing pad and stumbled back a few steps after taking witness to what happened. Then once again, Peach was walking off, now heading towards the Dry Dry Desert. However, little did Peach know, she was being closely followed by two flying raccoons.
"I wonder what Peach is going to do with Bowser, Mario." Luigi turned to look at his brother who was flying slightly ahead of him. Mario simply shrugged and kept flapping his thick tail. Peach seemed to stop in the middle of the Desert and then stood there. Mario and Luigi hovered in the air behind Peach waiting for something to happen. Using her free hand, Peach waved her hand in front of thin air. Slowly the air she had waved seemed to make puffy black clouds and spread apart. Then a large portal opened, with an image of a mushroom shaped castle inside of it. Peach stepped into the portal slowly.
The Mario brothers acting quickly, flew downwards and both of them grabbed onto one of Peach's slippers holding on tight. They were pulled towards the portal and heard a small pop as the come out on the other side. As Peach's feet hit the ground, the Mario brothers felt the hard vibrations shake their bones. Luigi's teeth clattered as he held on as Peach moved her foot forward again, Mario watched his brother launch forward knowing his turn was soon to come. Peach was walking up the hill towards the castle, from the portal it seemed small, but now, it looked just the right size... for Peach.
The doors opened as Peach came near, and she kept walking. As she came to the main hallway, Mario and Luigi let go of her feet, no longer able to withstand the heavy shocks from her foot steps. Looking upwards, there were many cages hanging from the ceiling. They were small, maybe able to hold two or three normal sized people. Peach reached up towards one of the cages and opened it with a flick of her finger. She then stuffed Bowser into the cage while he was still kicking and biting. She closed the door of the cage tightly, and shifted a small latch on the front. It looked to be old and rusted; it would take allot of normal man power to unlock. Then, Peach walked up the stairs and into another set of doors fading from sight as the doors closed behind her.
"You can’t do this!!! I capture people, I don't get captured!!!" Bowser held the bars of the cage tightly and shook them back and forth. He kept at it, shaking the cage and causing all sorts of noise. Then Bowser stopped for a moment feeling something behind him. He turned slowly and his heart almost jumped out of his chest when he saw the two floating Mario brothers.
"You two, what are you doing here?!?" Bowser was more than slightly surprised, and happy that the Mario brothers were here. Maybe they could find a way to get him out of here, shrink Peach again, so he could then put HIS mushroom plan into action. However, his eyes turned to slits at the thought of getting help from his worst foes. His eyes followed the Mario brothers as they circled the cage and came to the lock. They both grabbed a hold of it, and pulled up as hard as their tails would allow. The latch didn't move in the slightest bit. Luigi sighed heavily as Mario rubbed his chin, with an "Ah-ha!" Look upon his face, Mario swung his tail at the latch a few times, still nothing.
"Maybe we should just leave him here Mario, we really should be trying to
save Peach anyway." Bowser’s hopes shattered as he watched Mario and Luigi twist
and fly away. He reached out of the cage at them and shook the bars again.
"C'mon, brothers! You can't leave me here like this!!! It's not right!!!" Bowser
growled and sat back down in the cage, any hopes of getting out now gone. Mario
landed on the ground in front of the door and Luigi came down shortly after him.
They both looked at each other and nodded before slipping under the door and
into a great throne room.
There sitting upon the throne was Peach. She had a giant crystal crown on
with many jewels lighting it up. Her nightgown had changed to a short cut, Pink
puffy dress that stitched up the front much like a corset did. Then, Her legs
were covered in pink, thick soled, knee high boots. Without looking in the
direction of the Mario brothers, she stood up, then a voice spoke out.
"Well, if it isn't the Mario brothers, I knew you had hitched a ride, but I
didn't expect you to come straight to the boss, it doesn't seem like you." Both
of the brothers raised their eyebrows as the voice coming from everywhere spoke
to them.
"How do you like my castle? It's nice isn't it, it suited me well before I was turned into a mushroom by a backfire of my own spell. However, you see, I didn't turn into a normal mushroom... I turned into a mushroom... WHO COULD TAKE OVER BODIES AND CHANGE THEM AS I SEE FIT!!!" Mario and Luigi looked at one another, before looking back a Princess Peach. "See, your Peach here makes a good example, I took her normal body, which I liked and just added a few hundred feet to fit my castle nicely. She is a good body, I think I'll keep her and ruin the Mushroom Kingdom, using the ruler of it!" The voice laughed and echoed away before Peach began to walk towards the Mario brothers. Then the voice returned speaking in a quick low voice. " Oh, I almost forgot in order for me to ruin the Mushroom Kingdom, I'm going to need to destroy you two, I hope that doesn't pose any sort of problem."
Both of the Mario brothers ran off in different directions, one of the pink boot soles crashed down where they had been standing moments ago. Mario stood up and turned around in time to see the boot coming again, the grills of the shoe looked like they would hurt if Mario did get caught underfoot. Seconds before the boot sole made contact with the ground Mario jumped back and used his tail to push himself into the air. What were they going to do, a giant Peach was attacking them and they had no way to stop it... wait, Mario looked down to Luigi who took a little more time to recover from the first stomp.
Banking deeply Mario managed to avoid a hand swipe made by Peach. However the back draft pulled Mario up into the air. He caught himself using his tail as a stabilizer and his eyes went wide. He was face to mouth with Peach. Her eyes looked blank as her mouth opened quickly. Without time to the think, the hot prison walls closed around Mario and the pillars of white slammed down. The large flesh monster inside of Peach's mouth pinned Mario to the roof of her mouth the pressure gaining strength every second. Luigi still down on the ground jumped up as he watched his brother disappear into Peach's mouth.
However, in the time it took Peach to turn her head to face Mario, Luigi got a look at a small glimmer of something on the Back of Peaches neck. Without thinking Luigi lunged upwards headed right for the glimmer. Breaking into the forest of Peach's hair Luigi flapped quickly before he came to a small control stand. There, working the controls back and forth upon it was the small purple mushroom from before. It had a small speaker next to him and now it had tiny arms and a black cape on. It didn't turn around in time to see Luigi's tail pound into the back of its head. It lost control of Peach, and she spat Mario out onto the ground in front of her.
As the evil mushroom fell from the stand, It hit the ground with a small squeak. Then Peach began to slowly shrink back to her normal size. Her eye color and emotion came back and she closed her eyes after taking a small look around she fainted on the floor. Mario stood up, after shaking some of the saliva off his body. He walked over to Luigi and they stood over the mushroom looking down. Holding his arms up as if to defend himself the mushroom spoke, His voice sounding weak and scared now without the help of the microphone.
"Okay look, I just made Princess Peach swallow me, Then once I made her grow big, I left her body and made a control area on the back of her neck. I swear I wasn't really going to hurt anyone!" The mushroom backed up slowly after having spoken. Mario looked to Luigi and they both smirked before Luigi grabbed the Mushroom, Mario picked up Peach and her limp body in his arms. They worked they way under the door again and then flew up towards the cages. The stopped in front of Bowser’s cage, while Bowser who was inside curled into a ball and rocked back and forth slowly, muttering something about heights. Luigi forced the Mushroom in-between the bars, The mushroom popped out on the other side, bonking Bowser in the head. Looking up Bowser saw the Mushroom and laughed grabbing him.
"Yes, you will be perfect for my new plan!!!" A drop of sweat rolled down both Mario and Luigi's foreheads before they floated down towards the door, taking the Princess back to her real kingdom, one she would never ruin.
Afterwards...
After the incident with the Mushroom, Peach woke up in her bed, with both of the now normal looking Mario Brothers at her bedside. Her head hurt and she really had no clue as to what she had done. After the Mario brothers told her what happened. She did remember letting the Mushroom out of the cupboard. But a few things played with her mind, why was that evil Mushroom in her cupboard... why did it want to ruin the Mushroom kingdom, how was it able to take such control over her?
The Princess nodded slowly to the two brothers and apologized for all the trouble she had caused. However, it was nothing to the Mario brothers, after all, they did this kind of thing on a daily basis... as for Bowser, he did get out of that cage after hours of nothing but bashing the latch with his claws.
After he got out, he made it back to his somewhat destroyed castle...purple Mushroom in hand.
